Katie Shillingford

The persona behind my collection this year, Shillingford is, in my mind one of the most influential in the 'F' Industry. Her styling continuously inspires my work and she is the fashion editor behind Dazed and Confused, so thats enough for a round of applause from myself. I thought id share some of her shoots and styling with you.

Tiger Carcus

Initially my designs were comprising of surreal imagery of animal carcus, raw human forms, to get the foundation of my design work undergo. Tigercarcus above was one of my first to complete . I am going to delve deeper into the surreal and together with the initial imagery I am including my 'artistic' representations of psychological theories.....Yet to come.....
This is a little pin up structure piece, hand dyed the chiffon, lazer cut the neck piece and molded it to the manequin I may or may not use this idea but it ties in well with my theme and the skeletal theory that I've been working with.
